對醫學、社會方面影響：

Why Euthanasia in Taiwan is illegal but available in
Switzerland and other European countries? Maybe it is because
these countries have been through many discussions and
negotiations so that established the social atmosphere a long
time ago.

From the medical perspective, Euthanasia is practiced by
a physician giving drugs to kill or permit the death of very sick
persons in a relatively painless way for reasons of mercy, while
palliative care and hospice care can help with the increasing
emphasis on comfort care for the end of life and promoting the
quality of life. So, we need to think that human beings have the
right of being born, are about to survive and combat to live,
instead of ending their lives, for it against the nature of animals
and humankind. None of any religions will allow people to
commit suicide, and none of any countries in the world will
recognize suicide legally neither.

Therefore, we can practice palliative care based on the

law of the Hospice Palliative Care Act and Patient Autonomy
Act. Accompanied by the critically ill patients we care for,
