for acute enterovirus 71 infection

The detection of EV71 case is the first step to

initiate public health interventions in the beginning

of outbreak.

Traditional methods of detecting EV71require well-

equipped laboratories and well-trained technicians. An

easy-handling, rapid and reliable diagnostic method can

be useful not only in the medical centers but the local

clinics during the EV71 outbreak.
