How to Start the Rehabilitation Treatment Programs

It is easy to start the rehabilitation treatments in our department. Please consult our physiatrists at the rehabilitation outpatient clinic on the 5th floor. Our physiatrists will arrange a series of rehabilitation treatment programs that are suitable for you. After every 6 treatment courses, patients must return to the outpatient clinic and discuss with their physiatrists on whether or not the treatment programs should be modified.

Fees of Rehabilitation Services

The costs of rehabilitation services such as physical, occupational, and speech therapies, are covered by the National Health Insurance. However, partial fee payment of 50 Taiwan Dollars needs to be paid from the second treatment course onwards. If the severity of your rehabilitation treatment is regarded as moderate-severe or severe, then you don’t need to pay the partial fee of 50 Taiwan Dollars. According to the National Health Insurance Bureau, if you meet the criteria of major disability, low income status, occupational injury, veteran status, and under 3 years of age, then you don’t have to pay the partial fee of 50 Taiwan Dollars.
