The team members of the Chang Gung Craniofacial Center have been enthusiastically participating at international academic craniofacial conferences to share their experience with other centers of excellence. The Center has also hosted and sponsored several international conferences, workshops, and symposia on the treatment of craniofacial disorders.
Several hundred scientific articles have been published by the Center in journals such as: Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Journal of Craniofacial Surgery and Annals of Plastic Surgery.
Besides training future medical leaders of Taiwan, the world-reknowned Center is extensively involved in the training of international fellows, researchers, speech-language therapists and other health care workers. As of 2007, the Center has trained 269 trainees from 39 different countries.
