has provided patients with new and diverse opportunities for
care in nearly every nation around the world. With the areas of
professionalism, legality and ethics playing a building role in
the way services are provided, there must be a continual and
considered approach to each policy in order to ensure the rights
of every patient.

In Taiwan and around the world, health professionals
encounter increasingly complex issues surrounding patient care.
It is important to develop an effective approach in
investigating the legal and ethical consequences of such
scenarios. In my college, there was a course which provided
the student with the knowledge necessary to recognize legal
and ethical problems in the management and provision of
healthcare services and interaction with patients.

Given the trajectory of the COVID-19 pandemic, there is
growing concern about the potential inability of health care
personnel, equipment, and resources to keep pace with the need
for life-saving treatment, acute hospital care, and intervention.

What do hospitals and providers do when there are
