Imaging & Intervention in Liver Transplantation
Kaohsiung CGMH is globally renowned for its pioneering achievements in living donor liver transplantation. Under the authoritative leadership of Prof. Yu-Fan Cheng, fellows will receive intensive training within a high-volume clinical environment.
- → Pre-operative imaging evaluation for donors and recipients.
- → Intra-operative ultrasound guidance.
- → Advanced interventional management for post-transplant complications (e.g., vascular thrombosis, biliary strictures).
Head & Neck Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
Training is conducted at our dedicated Head and Neck Ablation Center, led directly by our Department Chair, Prof. Wei-Che Lin. This program provides cutting-edge techniques in minimally invasive tumor ablation.
- → Specialized focus on Thyroid RFA (benign nodules, cysts, and recurrent thyroid cancers).
