Discovery of biomarkers of diseases is important for detection, diagnosis, treatment, monitor, and prognosis. (The discovery of biomarkers is crucial for detecting, diagnosing, treating and monitoring diseases.)
Proteomic technology is one of the most important tools to screen biomarkers, however, sample preparation from clinical tissue and body fluid remains a challenge in proteomics. Therefore, it is critical to optimize sample preparation and mass spectrometry methods and extend the detection dynamic range. Scientists at CPC have successfully optimized methods to find the differential-expressed proteins in diseases such as Huntington's syndrome, ovarian cancer and liver cancer.
