PROFILE :
Chang Gung Memorial Hospital’s
Department of Plastic Surgery was first established in 1976.
It has since experienced tremendous growth and development
over the past 30 years. Professional service, cutting edge
techniques, and world-renowned research and education
characterise this institution. Beginning with Dr Noordhorf
and Dr Tsai, the department has since trained over 82
plastic surgeons.

- 1976 Dr Noordhorf and Dr Tsai establish the
plastic surgery department at CGMH Taipei.

- 1989 Plastic Surgery stand-alone recovery
- 1991 Trauma unit
- 1999 Linkou Cosmetic Center
- 2002 Chia Yi plastic surgery unit
- 2003 Trauma and Burns unit assimilated into
the plastic department
