      The authors are concerned about the ethic issues arising
from emerging medical technologies.

      This book consists of seven parts, encompassing an
ethical oversight in the first part, and then dealing with ethical
issues about the preventive emerging technologies in the
second part, about the diagnostic ones in the third part, about
the treatment monitoring and medical information in the fourth
part, about the therapeutic ones in the fifth part, about
emerging technologies on the rescue and end-of-life in the
sixth part, and about normalization and enhancement in the
final part.

      Most of the ethic concerns discussed in this book are very
interesting. Are medical research that mines large databases
(big data), such as people genomic characteristics, associated
