The Yung-Ching Premier Cancer Therapy Center of Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital was inaugurated in October 2018. Given that proton therapy can greatly reduce damage to healthy tissue in pediatric cancer patients who are still growing and developing, we planned a special charitable support program for proton therapy for pediatric cancer patients and enacted a subsidy program for adult cancers in 2021, to promote medical humanitarian service and bring medical compassion for vulnerable and disadvantaged groups into reality.
