The department of Ophthalmology at the Keelung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital has several subspecialties, including: Cornea, Retina, Glaucoma, Uveitis, Oculoplasty, Refraction, Neuro-Ophthalmology, and Pediatric Ophthalmology. All ophthalmologists have a subspecialty and focus their research efforts on their subspecialty’s new therapeutic technology and basic science.

Our department is one of the most famous ophthalmology research centers in Taiwan. Our missions are:

• 1. To provide state of the art care to local residents as well as international patients.
• 2. To focus and advance our efforts in clinical and basic medical research.
• 3. To provide extensive and well rounded training to our outstanding medical residents.
