- 1989-1994
- With the assistance of Dr. Hall from the states, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Cancer Center Preparatory Office was founded. Clinical guidelines and cancer database were also established.
- 1997
- Since this year, we began to hold Terry Fox International Cancer Symposium annually with themes of specific cancers.
- 1998
- Cancer teams started to hold Annual review meeting.
- 1st, Oct, 2001
- We commenced to participate in National Comprehensive Cancer Control Program Step 1 held by Bureau of Health Promotion, Department of Health, Taiwan
- Jan. 2004
- the office of cancer center was established, which was under direct supervision of hospital dean. 17 cancer teams were reorganized.
- Oct. 2004
- We took park in “Complete Cancer Care Quality Improvement Project” held by Bureau of Health Promotion, Department of Health, Taiwan
- 2007
- Inauguration of Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Cancer Center
- Jan. 2011
- Construction of Proton and Radiation Treatment Center began.
