I am having a tough time with this problem please help.

Dr.Sanchez, a renowned nutritionist has proclaimed the benefits of a balanced breakfast. To substantiate herclaim she asks her participants to go without breakfast for one week. The following week she asks the same participants to make sure they eat a complete breakfast. Following each week, she asks the supervisors of each participant to rate their productivity for that week. Test the doctor's hypothesis that they will have better performance when they eat breakfast.

Participant #1 performance with breakfast 8 performance without breakfast 6

Participant #2 performance with breakfast 6 without breakfast 6

Participant #3 performance with brealfast 8 without breakfast 5

Participant #4 performance with breakfast 8 without breakfast 5

a)Test the Dr.'s hypothesis that they will have a better performance when they eat breakfast.

b) What is the null hypothesis?

Null hypothesis - breakfast has no effect

Z=1.74 > 1.64 - can reject null hypothesis at the 5% level - p-value=4%
