Why use RPD? Now that I realize I've been meaning average % change when saying RPD and I see that RPD is completely different (the % difference of the difference in 2 #s from their mean), why would we use this statistic? As the two numbers get further away from each other, the RPD goes down while the % change goes up (counter-intuitive to me)?
