Construct the Null and Alternative Hypotheses that you would test to demonstrate that the average cost of an 8-day cruise to Mexico is higher than the average cost of an 8 day cruise to the Bahamas.

Mexico Cruise x=$2150 s=$275 n=8
Bahamas Cruise x=$1980 s=$250 n=10

a) Ho:u1-u2=0 vs Ha:u1-u2not=0
b) Ho:u1-u2=0 vs Ha:u1-u2>0
c) Ho:u1-u2=0 vs Ha:u1-u2<0

What is the decision rule to test the hypothesis at stddev=.5

a) reject the null hypothesis if t*D>2.120
b) reject the null hypothesis if t*D>1.746
c) reject the null hypothesis ift*d <2.120 or t*D>2.120

"C" Calculate the test statistic t*D
a) t*D=1.37
b) t*D=1.84
c)t*D=1.5
Dt*D=2.45
