What are Type One & Type Two errors? Are there more?

The type I error is the probability of rejecting the null hypothesis when in fact it is true.

The type II error is the probability of accepting the null hypothesis when in fact it is false. This depends on the actual parameter(s) in the alternative parameter space and is generally represented by a curve (or surface).
