confidence limits of a mean
Message posted by Lehna (via 209.53.3.186) on April 11, 2001 at 4:42 PM (ET)

If samples were collected independently, but were weighed in groups of 10. You have a mean and standard error for the goups of 10.

How would you determine the mean and 95% CL of the mean for an individual? You can divide the mean of the groups by 10 to get the weight of an individual but how do you figure out the SE of an individual?

TIA, Lehna
