How many square feet are in one acre?

There are 640 acres in one square mile. A mile is 5,280 feet, so a square mile is 5,280 times 5,280. Divide that product by 640 and you have your answer. The previous reply is ridiculously wrong.....:)

My apologies--the answer I claimed was ridiculously wrong may be allright--I didn't notice the scientific notation part of it! Do the math and check it.
