kappa coefficient calculations
Message posted by Chris on February 7, 2001 at 12:00 AM (ET)

I've got a 2x2 table with data, and I'm trying to calculate the kappa coefficient with a method I read in a paper. I need to caluculate chance counts from the table. What's the formula for that?

Just what are you trying to do with the 2by2 table. Is this a chi-squared test for independence ?
