I AM A STUDENT. FOLLOWING IS MY RESEARCH PROJECT.
60 PATIENTS ADMITTED TO A HOSPITAL. SOME OF THEM DIE. RECORDED THEIR AGE, SEX, ALCOHOL/DRUG USE, BLOOD PRESSURE AND FEW OTHER THINGS AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION TO THE HOSPITAL. WHAT TEST TO USE TO ASSESS THE EFFECT OF THESE THINGS ON THE OUTCOME AT DISCHAGE (DEAD/LIVE).

For one dependent variable and several independent variables you could use multiple regression analisys.
