Small Samples

I want to find the average cost of my phone bills over a three month period. Is there an accurate way to do this with just three numbers. Thanks

Average can mean many things. See the followng URL - 129.2.115.68/stats - for a more detailed dicussion of average. But, there is only so much you can do with three numbers. A more detailed analysis of your phone bill as to the source of your charges and their variability would yield a much more accurate prediction of the future.
