setting up data analysis I am a procrastinating grad student who needs to finish my dissertation. I have my data and need to enter it into some form to be analyzed. The tests I will be using will include average, mean, median, anovas, manovas, chi-squares. I have a lotus spread sheet program on my computer. Is that the best form to collect the data? I have a hundred subjects and would like to use the internet or my own program to do the statistical analysis once the data is entered. What advice can you all give re the form of collecting/entering the data. Thank you for any help and thanks for the great website.
READERS RESPOND: Re: setting up data analysis Since you are familiar with lotus, try using some of the statistical features that come with Excel. There are books on how to do statistics with Excel.
