Can someone point to me in the right direction for some help with stats? I took classes in college 6 years ago and now need to use this in work but can't remember certain symbols etc. Like, what does ˆ mean?

Sorry to hear about your dilema. Feel free to email me with specific questions and I'll do my best to answer them. I teach graduate-level statistics courses and both work and freelance in data analysis for companies, theses, etc. I would be glad to help out.Chad Allen

I believe that simply means to raise the number byb the exponent, so ^ would indicate to raise the number by 2 or 5 = 25 (5x5)
