Dot Plots Kindly tell me if there is such a thing as a dot plot, its uses and draw a figure of what it looks like, if possible. My exam is in two days!
READERS RESPOND: Re: Dot Plots A dot plot is like a frequency diagram except there are dots placed for each value in the data set. If two or more values are exactly the same, then they are stacked on top of each other. You can see an example using the following on-line statistics software: http://www.stat.sc.edu/webstat/ Create a data set and then under graphics choose "dotplot" Good luck.
