I'm looking for a text book that sets out how to apply the g-test to my data. This is because one of my cells has a value of 1. Any help appreciated.

I'm sorry to say that I am currently unaware of a suitable text for such an analysis. However, if you find one, please notify me. I recently had an aquaintance who need a similar statistic because she had a sample size of 1. She ended up using what is known as a C statistic--which I am also unfamilar with at this time. Sorry I could not be of more help.
