Statisitcs Decision Making Process I was wondering if anyone had or knew where I could get a good chart detailing the process of deciding which statistical test (i.e. z-test for large sample and known pop. st. dev, t-test for small sample and no known pop st. dev, etc...)to use in a given situation.. I once had a chart that did this wonderfully but have since lost it. Please let me know. Thank you.
READERS RESPOND: Re: Statisitcs Decision Making Process Look in the library or bookstore at statistics textbooks and you will find them easily. I just taught a class using: Engineering Statistics by Montgomery, Runger and Hubele. The tests were detail on the inside covers. Also, try: http://members.aol.com/johnp71/javastat.html Good luck.
