Please explain Friedman, Wilcoxon, Cronbach's alpha, McNemar tests

Could someone please explain (in simple terms)what the following statistaical tests are for & there significance. These are refered to in a (dental) paper & I do not undersatnd their relevence.
Friedman's, Wilcoxon's signed rank, Cronbach's alpha, McNemar's tests

The Friedman and Wilcoxon, and McNemar are non-parametric tests. Cronbach's alpha is a measure of internal consistency, one form of reliability. To explain each test in detail is beyond the scope of this board. A basis statistics book may be useful in understanding these tests.
