If I have a 4 digit number, what is the combination of that 4-digit number?

Do you mean combinations or permatations ? Taking 4 out of 4, there are 24 permutations and only one combination.

i want to find out the different combination of say 6 numbers out of say 1 to 12
eg 1 2 3 4 5 6
2 3 4 5 6 7
3 4 5 6 7 8
4 5 6 7 8 9 etc etc
