Where can I get a stat breakout by age group of writers, athletes, musicians, actors, artists, etc. I also want these to be broken out by instrument, sport, etc. Is there anything out there like this?

There is a great deal of information on the web. More than you can imagine. Try some sports magazine web site or some newspaper web site.
