A chart showing several rows of raw data numbers such
as say the average high temps in 25 cities for a month.
It would show the day of the month across the top and
each city listed in the first column to the left.

Is a chart such as this called a Paynter...a Paytner...or
something else?????? I have heard the term Paynter or Paytner charts
and was wondering if this is to what it refers???

I think you are refering to a
Pareto Chart, which is a column
chart. It uses the X and Y
axis for descripions,
percentages, etc. The actual
data would be calculated and
each group would form a separate
column. They are usually used
to identify problems. Have you
heard the saying, "vital few
and trivial many"?
