Message posted by Saul Denyer (via 195.216.2.218) on January 24, 2002 at 9:51 AM (ET)

Two strangers meet and discover that they married their respective partners on each others birthday. What is the statistical probability of this occuring?

Please keep it simple!

I had almost the exact same probability circumstance arise few months ago. It was the same probability question, only a different scenario. I went to a funeral and the deceased had the same birth and death dates as a relative of mine.

For just two people:
(1/365)*(1/365)= (1/133,000)

In other words, the probability is very small.
