Binominal procedural help needed
If you test "X" parts and "Y" pass, what level of statistical confidence do you have that at least 50% of the lot would pass? I need to know how to do this calculation generally. I don't know exactly to address this. Could someone walk me through the procedure. I realize that it is a binominal distribution with a 0.50 chance for every piece selected. I just don't know how to get to the answer.
