Rank 5 Sportscars
Message posted by Danny (via 140.209.38.41) on December 10, 2001 at 11:32 AM (ET)

Top speeds of five supercars were compared by Car and Driver magazine. Each car was driven to its redline as far as necessary three times in each direction to adjust for wind resistance. State the null and alternative of an ANOVA. Perform all the usual tests and if there is a difference, order the cars from fastest to slowest.
Acura: 159.7, 161.5, 163.7, 166.0, 157.7, 161.7
Ferrari: 179.6, 173.9, 180.2
183.9, 176.7, 178.4.
Lotus: 167.4, 163.0, 160.3
164.9, 160.5, 158.3
Porsche: 173.5, 182.4, 171.3
175.7, 179.1, 175.0
Viper:172.3, 168.9, 169.5, 174.6, 161.1, 164.2

I know how to do the null, but how do you run this in minitab? And what should I use to rank these? PLEASE HELP!
