Spearmans Ranking, V. Urgent!!

When your ranking values for spearmans and there are some the same how are they ranked? Are they given the same rank and if so is the one before missed out?

If two items have the same value, then they are given a rank equal to the mean of the ranks they replace. Similarly for three or more items.

Example:

Data, rank

34, 1
37, 2.5 = (2+3)/2
37, 2.5 = (2+3)/2
38, 4
41, 5
43, 7 = (6+7+8)/3
43, 7 = (6+7+8)/3
43, 7 = (6+7+8)/3
45, 9
