Contrast coefficients
Message posted by Mike (via 61.9.208.140) on November 8, 2001 at 8:38 PM (ET)

I have a continuous variable measured before and at 3 times after a treatment, and am analysing the results with repeated-measures ANOVA. I wish to do follow up tests using contrasts, using for example the coefficients -3 1 1 1 to test pre-treatment against the mean of post-treatment effects, and -1 -1 1 1 to test the mean of pre-tratment and 1st post-treatment against the 2nd and 3rd post-treatment mean. What coefficients do I use to test for differences among the 3 post-treatment times, ignoring the pre-treatment measurements?
