In a graph with the X variable on the horizontal axis and the Y on the vertical axis, a correlation is stronger:

a)the more scattered the points are
b)when the points form a square
c)when the points form a diagonal
d)when the points form a circle

A correlation is stronger:

When it show a lineal pattern (a strait line) with slope <>0

So:

c)when the points form a diagonal
