The Division of Nephrology was established in 1986. It is
based on a rich foundation of pioneers, leaders and
visionaries in the field of Nephrology, including Dr. Kuo-Tai
Hsu, Fu-Hsiung Shen, Jin-Bor Chen and Feng-Rong Chuang.
Current Chief, Dr. Chien-Te Lee together with the faculty
continue the mission in providing the highest level of
patient care, training the next generation of clinical
staff, and extending the very strong research interest and
track record in nephrology. We practice and teach optimal
care for patients with a broad spectrum of kidney diseases.
We actively hold a leading role in high-quality basic
science and clinical research, aimed for better treatment as
well as prevention of chronic kidney diseases. We are now
the largest nephrology care unit in south Taiwan. Moreover,
we are among the highest ranking award-winning teams in
caring dialysis and renal transplant patients. Over the
coming years, we determine to pursue excellence in providing
patient care, promoting translational research and ensuring
the highest quality in training and education. |
