 Clinical Skills Center
Established in 2005.
Mission: is to promote and provide high quality clinical education and reliable assessment of skills and procedures, with the ultimate intent being to advance patient care. The Center allows planning course outlines for teaching, to develop objective teaching and learning evaluations in order to assist each department to set guidelines for clinical skills examinations and the establishment of database, training, and accreditation for standardized patients. It offers an excellent simulated training environment and arranges for new residents, clerks, and nursing staff to perform their pre-service clinical practice and coordinate with our disease severity training in the intensive care unit.
Center for Evidence-Based Medicine
Established in 2004.
Mission: To promote evidence-based medicine and planning educational training programs, design faculty development programs, guide and supervise the executions of seminars of clinical evidence-based medicine in different disciplines. It is also in charge of organizing intramural and extramural competitions and provides improvements in quality and efficiency of healthcare.
Faculty Development Center
Established in 2005.
Mission: To revise faculty development regulations, evaluate plans of faculty developments in different disciplines and specialties, to verify the executive effects of such plans, to review, accreditate, and elect the best tutors. It regularly holds clinical teaching faculty development camps, specifically designed for doctors and medical personnel. Through our systematic faculty development programs, we have nurtured wonderful clinical tutors and medical teachers that are active in participating in all fields of clinical educations.
Medical Personnel Education Promotion Team
Established in 2010.
Mission: To assist in all developments and promotions of medical personnel education, to review training curriculums and set improvement measures, and provide a first-rate learning environment and resources.
Medical Education Research Promotion Team
Established in 2010.
Mission: To set academic research developing goals and promotional plans in medical education, to develop integrative educational researches, to oversee the execution effects of academic researches, to archive research application and results, and to supervise results publishing of educational research in medicine.
