  • Koji Hatanaka received his Ph.D. degree in Applied Physics in 1999 from Osaka University, Japan. In 1999-2007, he was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemistry, School of Science, Tohoku University, Japan. In 2007-2008, he was a Specially-appointed Associate Professor at the Research Institute for Electronic Science, Hokkaido University, Japan. In 2008-2013, he was an Associate Professor at the Center for Ultrafast Intense Laser Science, School of Science, The University of Tokyo, Japan. He is currently an Associate Research Fellow at Research Center for Applied Sciences, Academia Sinica, Taiwan since 2013. Dr. Hatanaka is currently continuing research in intense laser science and technology such as laser X-ray pulse/TH-wave emission from gold anno-colloidal solutions and its applications.
