Introduction
The technique of DNA sequencing has become indispensable for molecular biological and genetic researches. Genome Sequencing Center was established to serve
the researchers in Chang Gung Memorial Hospital to accelerate the research of the genetic basis of diseases. Dr. Cheng-Hsun Chiu is in charge of the
sequencing center located at Childrenˇ¦s Building (2J). We have ABI 3730 automatic DNA sequencer, and use the third-generation reagents ABI BigDye Terminator
kit (version 3.1) for sequencing. Automatic DNA sequencer was operated by professional technical staff to get consistent quality and correct results. This center not only promoted the execution of clinical and basic medical researches, but also provided the best support for other research colleagues to advance the development of academic researches in Taiwan.
